Ace The Technical
Pilot Interview
by Gary Barstow
Sample questions and detailed explanations commonly asked during a professional pilot's technical interview.
From the Introduction: In most pilot interviews you will be asked some technical questions. The scope that may be asked is vast, and obviously a major part of the decision as to who gets hired is based on how well you answer these questions. The degree to which you might be examined also varies considerably. Some operators will ask only one or two questions, whereas other will grill the applicant with questions of increasing difficulty. Fortunately though, the interviewer generally is happy if you can answer an adequate percentage of those questions.
